Who are you?! — No one really knows the right story to tell here. How were they formed? How were they named? Why were they named Always Naked?… they aren’t really naked, and isn’t that a direct contradiction to selling shirts and sweaters? But alas, we never really get what we want in life so we might as well just be ass backwards and having fun.
What type of music do you play?! — While much of the lyrics of Always Naked are serious and a bit lifetime story-telly, the music itself is drum and bass heavy, head banging alt rock. Always Naked tends to shock people into listening and then somehow makes you love them.
Y’all got CD’s? — With multiple EP’s out, one full album of songs was finally recorded, Sound Check, after multiple years of playing around PNW; BAM!… There was a world wide stand still, which made it possible for Always Naked to write and record their second album, Sex Sells. So yes. We got the goods.
Sex Sells. — This album was a look into being a female in the music scene, through the eyes of lead vocalist and lyrist Skylar, in multiple songs. Rahul recorded, mixed, and mastered Sex Sells in a diy soundproofed garage in Northgate, all while laying the foundation of these songs on drums. The ultimate bromance duo Pword and Knuckles on stings, highlight Skylar’s vocals and laid down heavy riffs.
Banned — Due to taking back power by naming their second album, Sex Sells, unintentionally they ran into censorship problems. Due to the two words of “sex” and “sells” put together, they got multiple flags over Facebook, Instagram and even TikTok. This eventually lead, after numerous battles with these online social media platforms, to their original Instagram account being completely deleted. Now Always Naked rebuilds, @alwaysnakedbanned (see what they did there?).
